Welcome to Orovai. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Orovai platform, including all related services, APIs, and applications (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Services are operated by Orovai, a business based in the Province of Quebec, Canada (“Orovai”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orovai’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You are solely responsible and liable for all content you access, retrieve, process, or generate through the Services. Orovai acts solely as a technology provider and does not control, endorse, or assume liability for user-directed requests or their results.
Without limiting the generality of Section 2, you expressly agree that you will not use the Services to:
Logging and monitoring: Orovai logs information associated with all API requests, including your IP address, API key, requested URLs, timestamps, and other relevant metadata. These logs are retained for a minimum of twelve (12) months.
Law enforcement cooperation: Orovai will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities investigating suspected illegal activity or abuse of the Services. As required or permitted by applicable law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec privacy legislation, Orovai may disclose your account information, IP address, request logs, and any other relevant data to law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, or other authorized parties.
Release of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orovai shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, claims, or legal consequences arising from your misuse or abuse of the Services, including but not limited to any content you access, retrieve, or distribute through the Services. You assume all risk and liability associated with your use of the Services.
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your account without notice or refund, and referral to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Quebec, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
